Marissa and Bryce wanted a natural and scenic gardenesque location as well as a historic feeling city scene for their engagement photos. So we decided on Ault Park and an area in downtown Cincy that consisted of charming buildings like the Taft Museum and Lytle Park Hotel.
Movement is key to how I approach posing and guiding my couples. Doing everyday, mundane movements helps bring out natural expressions and tendencies that make for couples’ most authentic selves to shine through in their photos. So when I prompted Marissa and Bryce with movements like frolicking around and sitting down in the grass across from each other, I’m so happy they obliged. As Marissa put it after they got the gallery back, “These pictures feel like us, you did a beautiful job at encapsulating our relationship. We have already gotten so many compliments on them and how natural we look. This makes me so excited for the wedding, I can’t even imagine how beautiful those pictures will be!”
